Do I need an RMA (Return Material Authorization) to send equipment for warranty evaluations?

YES! Although we receive very few warranty items (<1% warranty incidence rate), customers are required to submit for an RMA prior to warranty evaluations.

Do I need an RMA to send equipment for FREE repair evaluations?

No. Customers are not required to get an RMA number to send in equipment for repairs, but we would prefer that you contact your Customer Service Representative in advance with any details you can provide so we can expedite your repairs.

Does a warranty come with your products?

YES! All of the products remanufactured or sold by Sullivan and Sons, Inc., include a warranty either provided through Sullivan and Sons, Inc., or the OEM.

What is the difference between remanufactured (rebuilt), new surplus, aftermarket, and factory new?

Remanufactured – Process of disassembly and recovery at the module level and, eventually, at the component level. Through a series of industrial processes in a factory environment, a previously used product is completely disassembled. Parts are cleaned, refurbished/repaired or replaced, thoroughly inspected through a quality control process, and placed into inventory. The product is reassembled to produce a "like-new” unit, fully equivalent and sometimes superior in performance and expected lifetime in relation to a new product.

New Surplus – Unused surplus equipment not supplied from OEM directly.

Aftermarket – Equivalent or direct replacements for OEM products.

Factory New – Factory direct OEM products.

What is your lead time?

Most of the products we provide are shipped in 2 weeks. We are here to meet your needs and one huge advantage we have over the OEM is that we can give you specialized care to meet your delivery needs. We will do everything we can to expedite deliveries to meet the demands of your project or job. We will work with you on repairs or repair/exchange to ensure fast turn-arounds so you can reduce or eliminate down time.

Where do you get surplus equipment?

We buy surplus on a daily basis to stock our inventory. Often times it is overstock equipment from a plant that is shutting down or looking to turn surplus or used equipment into credit using our Customer Credit Recycling Program. We have been in business 25 years so we have built strong relationships with vendors and suppliers all over the world to recover the very best equipment available.
